New Year Resolutions

ITS 2015...WHAT?! I know literally everyone has said this but how fast did 2014 go? It feels like only yesterday summer had just started!
I not usually one for making new year resolutions and actually sticking to them but this year I’m really going to try to complete them! To encourage myself to stick to them I thought by writing them down I may actually try go through with them!

1.       My first New Year resolution is to try my best to write and upload a blog at least once because I really enjoy writing them. I tried so hard last year trying to write new blogs but I just didn’t know what to write and so this year I’m going to try and be more organised with it and plan them more in advance.

2.       My second New Year resolution is one that I set every year and massively fail at each time! I’m aiming to lose at least a stone this year in my weight and try my best eat a lot healthier because I eat so much rubbish food all the time and it really is starting to show!

3.       Another resolution that I’m making is to be more positive about things because I’m just so negative about so many things I shouldn’t be! Being positive can make life seem so much more exciting and enjoyable and so I think I would benefit from this resolution a lot!

4.       My final resolution is to become more confident in talking to new people which will then help me to make new friends because since I started college I seem to have drifted away from a lot of people that I thought I wouldn’t have  and so would like to meet lots of new ones.

I hope you enjoyed reading my first blog of the New Year and that maybe I gave you an idea of a New Year resolution that you would like to try!
Happy New Year!

The Body Shop Haul

Recently I had a Body Shop party; here we got to try out all the latest products. Whilst I was there I picked up a few things as everything was discounted quiet a lot! I’m always reading these types of blogs where people are showing what they brought and I find them really useful and interesting and so I thought I would do one myself. I am not bragging in any shape or form, I just want to share with you the things I picked up!

The first thing I picked up was the 'BEAUTIFYING OIL' in coconut. The reason i picked this up was because you could do hot oil treatments on your scalp which i had previously loved! it also smelt so good!!

The next thing I picked up was the ' HONEYMANIA EXFOLIANT CREAM'. Whilst i was at the party the consultant tried this out on my hands, I first of all loved the smell of it but loved the way it made my skin feel after using it.
These were probably the items that I was most looking forward to trying out as i had heard so many good things about them! From what I have tried the 'ALL-IN-ONE' BB cream looks amazing and the consistency looks perfect!
This is enough BB cream that I wanted to try because of it being made with tea tree which is amazing for imperfections and also controls blemishes.
As soon as I saw this colour lipstick i completely fell in love with the colour. Im not one for bright lips however i do like myself a nice coral. I have tried this out and it is very moisturising and has a nice consistency.
These two lip products are both so amazing! the exfoliating lipscuff is amazing for people who suffer from chapped lips, it has small bits in it which just simply exfoliating your lips leaving them feeling smooth and soft. The lip balm beside it is also amazing purely because of its smell! Not only that but its super moisturising!

Finally I picked up this sea weed ionic clay mask. I had heard lots of good things about this so I really wanted to try it out. This mask will control oil in your T-zone meaning you will get less blemishes popping up which is always good!

Devon, 2014

This summer holiday my family and I went on holiday to Woolacombe, Devon.
This holiday was probably the best holiday I have been on, even though I had visited Devon lots of times for some reason this one I enjoyed the most!

In Devon everywhere is just so beautiful and so I’m going to share with you some of the photos I took over the week.
The first place that we visited was Woolacombe beach, as you can see it was absolutely packed with people. Here we did surfing, rock pooling and lots of sunbathing!
One of my favourite places to visit in Devon is a small place called Ilfracombe, this is a popular fishing village with lots of little independent shops.

Right by the new harbor there is a very unique statue of a pregnant women created by the artist Damien Hirst.

This here is the remains of the old harbor, a great place for crabbing and fishing!
We then visited a very beautiful little village called Clovelly. The village is based on a steep hill made from pebbels.
The villagers of Clovelly don't use cars, but use donkeys. They mainly use the now for delivering goods to houses and the businesses.

At the bottom of the steep hill you come to a small harbor and a stunning view.

All of the houses in Clovelly are beautifully maintained, they are all unique in there own way, some with colourfull flowers and others littered with statues of gnomes.
Whilst we were there we visited the North Devon show, which is a very popular show that goes on where farmers for all over Devon bring there animals to be put in a contest.

March Favourites

Hey everyone,
I have been struggling with thinking up ideas of what to blog and so came to the decision to write what I like to read. One my favourite blog posts to read are definitely monthly favourite videos and so I thought I would do my March favourites as March has quickly come to an end.

My first favourite that I have absolutely loving is the Maybelline ‘Baby Skin, instant pore eraser’. These are massively raved about at the moment and so I thought I would see what all the fuss was about, and no surprise Maybelline had made an amazing cheap alternative to benefits porefessionals. The consistency is gel like which I really like because I feel like it’s giving me a better coverage to what maybe a cream wouldn't do.

My next things that I have loved are the sleek blushes. I brought one a couple of weeks back in ‘Rose Gold’ which is such a beautiful colour. The blush package is also gorgeous; they look very similar to NARS blushes. The pigmentation of the blush is incredible and so using a little bit is perfect. The shade I chose has some shimmer in it and so when it catches the light it just illuminates your checks.

My last favourite that I haven’t stopped using is Tanya Burrs lip gloss in ‘Champagne Toast’. I have actually already spoken about these in my previous blog but they are just so incredibly good! All the colours are so pretty and have little shimmery bits in them to make your lips look super glossy. The smell of them is so delicious which makes me love them even more!

If you would like to purchase any of things I have mentioned I will leave a list where you can buy them online, thanks so much for reading x

Review on Tanya Burr's Lip Gloss And Nail Varnish Collecton

Hey everyone, sorry it’s been so long since I have blogged I just haven’t had the time to sit down with school and coursework deadlines. But now I’m up to date with things I’m going to try and post at least 3 times a week so please look out for my new posts!
As some of you may know Tanya Burr released a new collection of lip glosses and nail varnish and so I purchased 1 of each. So for the people who are still contemplating over buying them I thought I would write a review on them.

Nail Varnish- ‘Bright and Early’
The nail varnish I decided to try out is called ‘Bright and Early’; this is a beautiful bright coral colour. I think this colour will look beautiful especially in the summer.  The price of each nail varnish are £5.99 ; personally I think this is maybe a little pricey however the quality of the polish is well worth the price.

I tried the nail polish out for a week and have been very happy with the results I had minor chipping on my nails and for me that is a big thing because I’m very heavy handed which means I do struggle to keep nail varnish on for any longer than a week without it chipping. The polish itself is glossy and you can get away with just one coat if you’re running late and it still looks flawless.

Lip Gloss- ‘Champagne Toast’
As I’m not a bright lip wearer I thought I would just start of getting a really natural shimmery shade. I picked out the colour ‘Champagne Toast’. I’m really happy with what the colour turned out to be because obviously buying products online, you can’t always see the true colour so I was very happy with what I got. Although the price for the nail varnish was less I think this price was a good drug store price for a lip gloss because it was similar to brands that I have previously brought from. The prices for all the lip glosses are £6.99.

The first thing you will fall in love with is the smell of the lip glosses, as Tanya burr describes them, they really do smell of strawberries and cream! So this instantly made me fall in love with them! Once you have applied the lip gloss they make your lips loos glossy and give a slight bit of colour. I think this is the perfect shade for a natural look, maybe to wear to school instead of a nude lipstick. The only thing I would say I wasn’t sure if I liked was that it was a little sticky when you allied it so it felt thick on your lips, however it stayed on for most of the night which was a big advantage with these.
So if I have made you want to but these products you can find them on the website
